Daily Habits

The mandate for this project was to create an inforgraphics book based upon fifteen consecutive weeks of my daily habits. Therefore the project began by documenting a variety of the things I do each day.

The Information In order to get a sufficient amount of information for the booklet, I chose habits that I knew would provide me with enough information. For fifteen weeks I tracked the music I listened to, the liquids I drank, the amount of hours spent on public transportation and the amount of hours I spent walking Eddy, my dog.

The challenge Seeing as the chosen topics are all fairly different from one another, the main challenge was determining a representation system that would work for each topic as well as come together and be uniform across the booklet.

The Process The initial steps, once the topics were chosen was to brainstorm different fun and dynamic ways of demonstrating infographics. Developing a colour palette that would be applied to the booklet as a whole pulled everything together and transformed the four different topics into one uniform booklet.

The Outcome A colourful inforgraphics booklet that gives a rather personal insight into the patterns that I follow on a daily basis.
